This is a legit Carbon Fiber Hood from Sebon. Very light weight, and you can feel the difference. You can install this hood in your own garage if you are confident.
The only problems I had when installing:
1. I had to transfer my stock hood locking mech to the carbon fiber hood.
2. I wanted to put my hood support bar on, so I had to drill a bigger hole.
NOTE: That I wanted my new carbon fiber hood to have everything that my stock hood had.
(Except for that dumb, and black heat shield.)
If you leave off the stock hood's heat shield, like I did you have nothing to worry about. After racing my RIO the only thing that is hot is the metal grille (scoop), and the carbon fiber hood will always stay cool.
All in all I consider this to be a good investment. It makes your KIA RIO look like it has some balls. It lightens your front end, and is fairly easy to install. I just still thought that this hood was a little over priced, but it's all good.
