by Stephen Kerndl Date Added: Monday 14 July, 2008 Wow! you can really feel the difference in your shifting response time. for my 07 spec5, i had to remove the whole center console (6 screws and unplug the cigarette lighter cord) besides that, the directions were spot on. you only have to replace the initial washer that you take off. as for the shifter knob, the one that came with it was hideous. but the factory knob's plastic casing was catching on the shaft of the shifter after the threads. so i got a grinder and grinded down the shaft just a bit for 2-3 inches and the factory knob fit right on there. great mod Rating: [4 of 5 Stars!]
